Dr. Arek Apo Touloumdjian
Dr. Arek Apo Touloumdjian is a board-certified medical doctor in Internal Medicine with a focus on facial esthetics. He has been studying and training in the field of cosmetic medicine throughout his entire medical career.
Dr. Arek completed his Internal Medicine Residency Program at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California, and became board-certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine. He now continues to work as an attending physician at Eisenhower. He is also the Quality Program Director and part of the Medical Executive Committee at Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Rancho Mirage, where he treats patients to help manage their recovery and overall health.
Prior to and throughout pursuing his medical degree, Dr. Arek worked closely with plastic surgeons in the greater Los Angeles area and Beverly Hills, California. He is extremely passionate about healthcare and the overall improvement of the human body, which is why he is always searching for more natural, healthy, and lasting approaches to better skin care and rejuvenation.
He is dedicated to providing convenient, safe, and effective therapies with little downtime and maximum results. At CARE Esthetics, the approach is to use the body’s natural healing abilities to stimulate collagen production and achieve a more youthful, refreshed appearance through minimally invasive facial esthetics procedures.
Dr. Arek understands that each patient’s esthetics needs and wellness goals are unique. That is why he takes the time to develop customized treatment plans for each client. He is committed to staying current with the latest advances in facial esthetics to provide his patients with the best possible care.
In partnering with Dr. Armen Karimyan, who shares the same passion for health and wellness, the two founded CARE Esthetics of La Quinta – a wellness center dedicated to your journey towards a healthier, more rejuvenated version of yourself.
Dr. Armen Karimyan
Dr. Armen Karimyan grew up in Southern California and graduated from Herbert Hoover High School in Glendale, CA. He pursued higher education and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biochemistry at the University of California, San Diego. During his studies at UCSD, Dr. Karimyan made the Provost Honor List.
After working as a biochemist for two years, he was accepted to Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He was on the Deans Honor List and was listed in the “Who Is Who Among American Colleges and Universities.”
He passed the Indiana Dental Boards and worked in Terra Haute, Indiana, before returning to California. After a few years of working in California, Dr. Karimyan opened his own dental practice, La Quinta Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, in La Quinta, California, where he lives with his wife, Larissa, and their four children.
Dr. Karimyan is an active member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Tri-County Dental Association, and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
Dr. Karimyan’s passion for health and wellness, longevity, and facial esthetics began with a personal revelation. At the age of 41, Dr. Karimyan felt years older than the calendar suggested – overweight, fatigued, and dispirited. It was at that point when Dr. Karimyan decided to regain control of his life and well-being through diet, exercise, medical-grade supplements, and esthetic treatments. That quest for self-renewal blossomed into an all-encompassing passion for holistic wellness.
Dr. Karimyan partnered with Dr. Arek Apo Touloumdjian, an equally dedicated advocate for integrated health and wellness, and together, they paved the way for CARE Esthetics of La Quinta – a wellness center committed to your transformation into a healthier, revitalized you.
