About Us
Dr. Armen Karimyan grew up in Southern California and graduated from Herbert Hoover High School in Glendale, CA. He pursued higher education and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biochemistry at the University of California, San Diego. During his studies at UCSD.
After working as a biochemist for two years, he was accepted to Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He was on the Deans Honor List and was listed in the “Who Is Who Among American Colleges and Universities.”
He passed the Indiana Dental Boards and worked in Terra Haute, Indiana, before returning to California. After a few years of working in California, Dr. Karimyan opened his own dental practice, La Quinta Center for Cosmetic Dentistry, in La Quinta, California, where he lives with his wife, Larissa, and their four children.
Dr. Karimyan’s passion for health and wellness, longevity, and facial esthetics began with a personal revelation. At the age of 41, Dr. Karimyan felt years older than the calendar suggested – overweight, fatigued, and dispirited. It was at that point when Dr. Karimyan decided to regain control of his life and well-being through diet, exercise, medical-grade supplements, and aesthetics treatments. That quest for self-renewal blossomed into an all-encompassing passion for holistic wellness.
Dr. Karimyan partnered with Dr. Arek Apo Touloumdjian, an equally dedicated advocate for integrated health and wellness, and together, they paved the way for CARE Esthetics of La Quinta – a wellness center committed to your transformation into a healthier, revitalized you.
